If we learned anything from the 1984 classic "The Karate Kid," it's that determination and a belief in yourself, and in your sensei, can help you achieve anything. After all, you're the best around -- nothing's gonna ever keep you down. But if we learned anything from "The Karate Teen," it's that you're probably going to get your butt handed to you anyway.

In the "Saturday Night Live" parody, Mikey Day's Jeffy Le'Hart faces off against Sammy Knox, played by this week's host John Cena, in the San Fernando Valley Karate Championships. Just as it looks as if Jeffy may lose, he falls back on the training of his teacher (Kenan Thompson), and then proceeds to get the kick crapped out of him ... over and over again.

This isn't a Cobra Kai-style beatdown, either; Wolf Claw Dojo doesn't mess around. Amid taunts of "This kid's a virgin!" and "Sorry I got dork on the floor!," Jeffy is struck so hard that he's knocked out of hit pants and through four walls. True to form, though, nothing can keep him down, and Jeffy comes back for me -- even as his teacher frantically signals for him to quit.

"I gotta thing I gotta get to," his teacher says as Jeffy is sent flying once again by Sammy. Mr. Miyagi he's not.
