It's only a month and a half until Star Wars Battlefront II hits shelves, and the hype is real. To get players ready, Electronic Arts has released a new video in which Star Wars: The Last Jedi star John Boyega, an avid player of the 2015 Battlefront, narrates what we can expect from the shooter sequel.

The Finn actor promises that whether you're playing the single-player campaign or the various multiplayer modes, you'll be enjoying "a Star Wars experience like none other."

As Boyega explains, the number of playable Heroes, locations, and vehicles has tripled between 2015's Battlefront and Battlefront II. With an expansive focus toward all three trilogies -- the original, the prequel and the new -- more variety comes for the multiplayer, along with a focus on class-based gameplay.

If you've played prior DICE games, you know what to expect: Assault class comes with mid-range weapons and explosives, Heavy carries the big guns, Specialists hold the traps, and Officers command and deploy turrets. All four classes have their own weapons and abilities that can be gained through natural progression. When working with other players, you can earn Battle Points that can allow you to call in reinforcements such as Wookies, Flame Troopers, or Death Troopers. Or, you can use the BP to call in of the game's dozen plus Heroes, which range from Darth Maul and Rey to Boba Fett and Han Solo, and their abilities can be customized as well.

As for the single player, it's getting a marked improvement from the first game in that there's actually a story this time. Players will take control of Iden Versio, the leader of the Empire's elite Inferno Squad, as they take revenge on the Rebellion following the events of Return of the Jedi. The story will bridge the gap between Jedi and Awakens, giving players some familiar faces and the chance to avenge the Emperor. '

Star Wars Battlefront II arrives Nov. 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
