Lionsgate has debuted the first official trailer for its new installment in the highly-successful Saw franchise, titled Jigsaw. Just as its predecessors, the film will release right around Halloween on October 27, 2017.

Set 10 years after the death of John Kramer, AKA Jigsaw, the film picks up as several bodies turn up in the film's city, each having been met with a gruesome demise. Thus, questions begin to surface that point towards the return of Jigsaw -- or, at least, a copycat. While there's likely a new killer, the central premise remains: "Live or die, the choice is yours.”

Co-directed by Michael and Peter Spierig and from a script by Pete Goldfinger, Jigsaw is produced by original franchise producers Mark Burg, Gregg Hoffman and Oren Koules.
