A new batch of set photos from the second season of Marvel and Netflix's Jessica Jones show our heroine in trouble with the law, this time alongside her best friend/sister, Trish Walker.

Unlike the previous set photos, which saw Jess and Trish going about their normal routines, these latest photos, seen via MCU Exchange, seem to indicate that there's plenty of trouble coming their way -- along with Eka Darville's Malcolm, possibly -- in the upcoming season.

During the first season, Rachael Taylor's Trish Walker was desperate to become a hero and be a part of the action. With the character's arc in The Defenders, which will finally hit this summer, it's currently unknown whether she'll finally take on the Hellcat mantle (like in the Marvel Comics source material) in season two of Jessica Jones.

As of right now, not much is known regarding the upcoming second season. The only new cast member to join the series has been the Oscar-nominated actress Janet McTeer, who is set to play a mysterious character that'll have a huge impact on Jessica's life. With no villain yet to be revealed for season two, it's expected that Wil Traval's Will Simpson/Nuke will take on the role of the big bad this season, with McTeer's unknown character possibly playing a part in the mysterious organization, IGH, which is not only connected to Jessica's powers, but also Simpson's boss, Doctor Kozlov.

The series, which will be directed by all female directors this season, is expected to continue production through September.

Based on the Marvel Comics character created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as the troubled superpowered private investigator. The second season is expected to arrive in 2018.
