"Jessica Jones'" Carrie-Anne Moss will reprise her role as Jeri Hogarth in Netflix's upcoming "Iron Fist" series. According to Marvel.com, Hogarth will help Danny Rand readjust to life in New York City after he went missing for years.

"Carrie-Anne [Moss] has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street level saga, and we share our viewers' excitement in bringing her into 'Marvel's Iron Fist,'" Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb said in a statement. "As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in."

In the series, said only to be "coming soon," Daniel Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years. There he fights the criminal element corrupting the city "with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist."

"Six Feet Under" and "Dexter" veteran Scott Buck will serve as showrunner on Netflix's "Iron Fist," which stars Finn Jones in the title role. With "Luke Cage" scheduled for a September 30 debut, it seems likely "Iron Fist" won't premiere until at least 2017.
