Enough about Howard Gordon, Howard Gordon, Howard Gordon — who else is making moves in the television development game? Not to be outdone, Jerry Bruckheimer Television has made its first major sale of the year in the form of The Lost Girls, a new series that has received a put pilot commitment from ABC.

The Lost Girls is based on the blog and book of the same name that chronicles the true story of a trio of friends who left their corporate jobs, boyfriends, family and everything else behind to embark on "a year-long search for adventure and inspiration," according to Deadline.

The new Bruckheimer TV series has drawn comparisons to The Amazing Race, leaving one to wonder whether or not The Lost Girls will be a reality series.
