The cast of Showtime's "Twin Peaks" revival has grown by one. As revealed by an unnamed source, Deadline has learned that Jennifer Jason Leigh will appear David Lynch's upcoming sequel series.

While the network has remained quiet about Leigh's casting, Deadline says their source's information was validated by a grainy paparazzi photo taken during a night shoot in the Mojave desert -- a picture that featured an actress that looked like Leigh filming a scene with Kyle MacLachlan. Sheryl Lee, who played Laura Palmer in the original series, was also caught on film.

Like the mysterious show itself, updates about the cast of the new batch of "Twin Peaks" episodes remains shrouded in secrecy. It was initially reported that Peter Sarsgaard was on board for the show, but the actor later denied his involvement. Other new actors in the revival include Amanda Seyfried, Balthazar Gerry and Robert Knepper. David Lynch is attached to direct the miniseries from a script he penned with co-creator Mark Frost.
