Fox has unveiled the first trailer for "Victor Frankenstein," a retelling of the Mary Shelley classic starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe.

Directed by Paul McGuigan (“Sherlock,” “Lucky Number Slevin”) from a script by Max Landis (“Chronicle”), the film is told from the perspective of Igor Strausman (Radcliffe), a brilliant protégé of radical scientist Victor Frankenstein (McAvoy) who shares his mentor's noble vision of aiding humanity through their research into immortality. When Victor’s experiments go too far, leading to horrifying consequences, only Igor can bring his friend back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation.

Opening Nov. 25, "Victor Frankenstein" also stars Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott and Freddie Fox.
