The "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" cast will land in San Diego this July. On his Facebook, director James Gunn announced the end of filming and revealed that he and some of the stars will appear at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

"We also want to let everybody on Facebook know that we have an announcement. We, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,' are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year," he shared. "We're going to be there, I'm going to be there, Chris Pratt is going to be there, a bunch of the gang is going to be there and we're going to show you guys something pretty cool."

"Guardians of the Galaxy" isn't the only Marvel Studios property that will appear at SDCC. Last week, director Scott Derrickson confirmed that "Doctor Strange" will be at the convention as well.

Directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" opens on May 5, 2017.
