Over Batman's 78 years of existence, the character has been played by such illustrious stars as Adam West, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck... and Jaden Smith?

Smith goes literal for the music video of his new song "Batman" by showing us what it would be like if he were Bruce Wayne (or "Bruce e Bat," as the incomparable credits list him). How does Smith's interpretation differ from past Batmen? Well, he misses the Bat-Signal after passing out in a random field, deftly handles a reporter's questioning of his secret identity by hanging up on her mid-sentence and dabs around Los Angeles in his all-white batsuit.

The video culminates in a climactic final battle: Smith's Batman vs. the Hollywood Walk of Fame's Batman and Superman. It may not be as dramatic as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it does feature a brief crossover by a Spider-Man impersonator. You can check out the music video for yourself below:

This isn't the first time Smith has donned his batsuit. He wore it to 2015's Comic-Con International in San Diego as well as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding, according to The Daily Mail. Why the latter? "I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so," he explained.
