Campbell recently shared interior art from the story, featuring team leader Caitlin Fairchild and the team's mentor, John Lynch.

The artwork was posted on Campbell's Facebook page with the message, "One of the interior pages of a short Gen13 story I wrote and drew for Wildstorm: A Celebration of 25 Years, Out this month! Ever wonder what the Gen13 would be like in the year 2017? Well wonder no mo! With the stylish inks of Scott Williams and gorgeous color work by Peter Steigerwald."

The scene looks to take place at Gen13 headquarters in La Jolla, California. As Fairchild and Lynch hold a conversation, a television screen is shown displaying women marching for equal rights.

Gen13 launched in February 1994 from Jim Lee, Brandon Choi and J. Scott Campbell as part of Lee's Wildstorm imprint at Image Comics. Caitlin Fairchild, Freefall, Burnout, Grunge, and Rainmaker are recruited to take part in a secret government project to uncover gen-active citizens. Once the teens manifest their powers and discover the true nature of the project, they go on the run with the help of former Team 7 member John Lynch. Each member of Gen13 is the offspring of a member of Team 7, with Burnout Lynch's son.

Wildstorm: A Celebration of 25 Years goes on sale Oct. 25 from DC Comics.
