Here’s some news to brighten your day, Doctor Who fans: Neil Gaiman will write a new episode that will air this season.
Fans will know that Gaiman penned the award-winning 2011 Doctor Who episode “The Doctor’s Wife.” As a longtime Whovian, it turns out one episode wasn’t enough for the author and comics writer. Doctor Who Magazine is reporting Gaiman will write an episode to air during the second half of Season 7. He seemingly confirmed it will be the penultimate episode.
Other writers who are contributing to the final eight episodes of the season are Luther creator Neil Cross, Sherlock co-creator Matt Gatiss, showrunner Steven Moffat and Sherlock writer Stephen Thompson.
