Although we've known since May that Western antihero Jonah Hex would likely return in the upcoming second season of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," now Johnathon Schaech has made it official.

The actor, who debuted as the DC Comics bounty hunter in the Season 1 episode "The Magnificent Eight," tweeted a photo of himself on Friday holding a Season 2 script. "Look who's officially coming back!!!" he wrote. "We're gonna kick some serious ass!"

Although the script's cover page is partially obscured, the episode's title appears to be "Outlaw Country." Shooting is set to take place from Sept. 15 to Sept. 26.

In Schaech's Season 1 episode, Rip Hunter's team traveled back to 1800s Dakota Territory to escape the mercenary Hunters chasing them. There, they encountered Jonah Hex in a saloon, who indicated he'd encountered time travelers before.
