There's a first time for everything.

See, I spent the last week in San Diego and Disneyland, and then I drove home today, and I haven't had a chance to write this week's column. Yet.

So it won't be up until Thursday, July 26.

Sorry for any inconvenience, and I hope you decide to come back tomorrow. Trust me, you won't want to miss this one. Still, once every two years ain't bad, huh?

Too tired for thoughts just now. More Thursday.

Question Of The Day at the Master Of The Obvious Message Board: what talent who is mostly seen on work-for-hire comics would you most like to see do a creator-owned title? Let's encourage these poor guys. (Which is used here in a non-gender-specific sense.)

Whatever questions you might have about me can probably be answered with a quick trip to Steven Grant's Alleged Fictions. You can also express your own views at the Master Of The Obvious Message Board, or send me mail. Bear in mind that while I read all my mail, time constrains me from replying in most cases. Thanks.
