Earth's Mightiest Heroes go toe to toe with Ultron, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in the latest extended clip from Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

It's a battle waged as much with quips as with fists and repulsor blasts, as a testy Ultron -- aka "Junior" -- makes it clear that he's not a fan of supervillain tropes.

"What's the Vibranium for?" asks Iron Man, flanked by Captain America and Thor as Black Widow and Hawkeye take a more stealthy approach. "I'm glad you asked that," Ultron deadpans, demonstrating once again the brilliance of James Spader's casting, "because I want to take this time to explain my evil plan."

But where's the Hulk in all of this? Maybe he's waiting to make his big entrance, or perhaps he's still shaking off the Scarlet Witch's influence.

Directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Anthony Mackie, James Spader and Samuel L. Jackson. The film opens May 1.
