THOR: THE DARK WORLDComic Book Movie has posted a translation of a report from Italian convention Professional Cinema Days in Sorrento, where the first raw footage of "Thor: The Dark World" was seen. Beyond the report below, Marvel International Vice President Nigel Cook stated the film both begins and ends on Earth.

In the preview, a voice-over is heard with the oath of the God of Thunder as the new supreme ruler. We see a clash between Thor and the enemy army, in a world that is neither Asgard let alone the Earth. We see Chris Hemsworth wielding his hammer and Tom Hiddleston as Loki first wounded without a helmet, with long, loose hair and then imprisoned; his anger increasingly desperate and irrational. Then there's a scene later in which he is free again, but still furious.

Against the backdrop of a forest, in the middle of a clearing, among the dust, we in fact face off anthropomorphic creatures, but also a big "gorilla" krosan tusker: a rather alien fauna varies so, although not extreme in size (there are also some envoys/ambassadors of a people mysterious, with oval face and black eyes, elongated and sunken)

The rest of the images show glimpses of Asgard, with Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Natalie Portman in clothes that seem more like a princess; an Asgardian princess. In between, there are images of an epic battle on horseback, who seems to have left an epic cloak-and-dagger. The threat to the Asgardians is certainly a new alien race pale (now identified as the dark elves).

A black spaceship shaped irregularly looks like a serious threat to Asgard. More sequences show Natalie Portman then alongside Thor lying on the ground, probably overwhelmed in a clash.

ARROWTV Line spoke with Seth Gabel about his upcoming portrayal of the Count Vertigo-inspired villain on "Arrow," simply called "The Count."

"It's the most fun I've ever had," Gabel told TV Line, and described the character as "very street, in a flamboyant, theatrical, grounded way," with spiky hair, fingerless gloves and "a lot of black." "I basically rule the street," he said. "So [Oliver's] got a long way to go up the chain to get to me."

Airs Wednesdays on the CW.

THE HOBBITLots of new "The Hobbit" news as the film continues its build to next week's premiere. First up, a clip from "An Unexpected Journey" of Gandalf teasing the appearance of Smaug the dragon.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke with lead actor Martin Freeman about his experience reading "The Hobbit" as an adult.

"It was nice coming to it that way around, actually," Freeman told THR. "In a way, it decreased the pressure. I think if I had been carrying that around since I was 10, that would have been quite overwhelming by the time I grew up. My being here would be overwhelming. As it was, it was more exciting than scary."

Finally, EW.com has an incredibly advance photo from "The Hobbt: There and Back Again" of Orlando Bloom as Legolas and Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman.
