THE WALKING DEADCBR's Terri Schwartz spoke with "The Walking Dead" star Andrew Lincoln and producer Gale Anne Hurd on a press conference call yesterday about what's in store for Rick and the survivors moving into season three -- and Rick's connection with the Governor.

"I think the common bond of leadership is something that they'll recognize in one another," Lincoln said. "They don't have anyone to sort of share notes with. Yeah, perhaps The Governor is an evolution of Rick or a mirror of Rick a little further down the line. I always say that with Rick is that everything costs, every death, every responsibility for each death costs him."

Meanwhile, MTV Splash Page has posted an excerpt from "The Walking Dead Magazine" interview with Danai Gurira about preparing for the role of Michonne.

"I wanted to read the comic books, so they got me everything that had been published so far. I have read almost all of them," Gurira told "The Walking Dead Magazine." "They were very helpful to me with some strange, physical things. The way that Charlie Adlard draws Michonne, even her eyes and her expression in them, were very telling to me about who she is and about her pain and sadness and rage. She is inspired from that depiction so it was important to see what birthed her."
