IRON MAN 3It's Ben Kingsley's turn in the "Iron Man 3" spotlight coverage this week as The Verge has posted a video featurette of The Mandarin's role in the upcoming sequel.

The actor also did an interview with Collider, speaking about his preparation for the role of The Mandarin and a bit on his role in the "Ender's Game" adaptation.

Finally, The Huffington Post spoke with Kingsley about developing the unique voice he has for the character.

"I wanted a voice that would disconcert a Western audience. I wanted a voice that would sound far more homegrown and familiar -- a familiarity like a teacher's voice or a preacher's voice," Kingsley told The Huffington Post. "The rhythms and tones of an earnest, almost benign, teacher -- trying to educate people for their own good. Therefore, that's the timbre that I used for him. I think it would be more disconcerting and threatening to hear almost a patriarchal voice rather than a screaming, 'villainous' voice."

The Huffington Post also spoke with Kevin Feige about what the studio plans to do if Robert Downey Jr. decides not to come back to the role of Iron Man.

"Well, look, I don't think Robert will be playing this character for another 30 years, and I certainly hope the character stays in movies for the next 30 years -- just like James Bond," he said. "I would say before George Lazenby and Roger Moore, Sean Connery was James Bond. It will take a while to fill any shoes, whether it's filmmaker shoes or writer shoes or certainly actor shoes. I think Tony Stark is an interesting enough and rich enough character that he can persevere. That being said, I hope that doesn't happen any time soon. It certainly is our plan to continue to have Robert Downey in the persona of Tony Stark for many, many years to come."

Finally, CBR's own Josie Campbell spoke with Don Cheadle about a myriad of "Iron Man 3" topics, including the difficulty of acting in the Iron Patriot suit.

"You can't really move around in it," said Cheadle. "It only works in a couple of positions! You can't touch your face, if you want to drink somebody needs to bring you a cup and a straw, you can't scratch your face. Literally, between takes they would come hold it off of me, because it's really not comfortable."

DAREDEVILDuring an "Iron Man 3" and Marvel Phase Two interview, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige spoke with EW.com about the possibility of bringing Daredevil into the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that the character rights are back with Marvel.

"There comes a time in contracts where, if a studio is done making the movies, [the characters] come home," Feige told EW. "That doesn't mean we're going to make another movie. But it means they're back in the fold, which is where we want them to be."

So, no plans any time soon -- at least not that Marvel is ready to announce.

THE BOYSScreenwriters Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay gave a brief update to Collider on the current status of Adam McKay's adaptation of "The Boys."

"I think there are some machinations going on right now, which is exciting, to finalize something with the movie," Manfredi told Collider. "But I think that 'The Boys' is so specific. It's another thing that Neal Moritz is producing and something that we all agreed on right away was, you can't take 'The Boys' and make it something it isn't. You can't take what this book is and just kind of spin off somewhere random with it, because it is so specific. We were like, if we can write the script the way we believe it should be just as fans of the book, then we would do it. To their credit, everyone else involved was like, 'Yeah, we get it. It has to be hardcore.' And when Adam came on, it was the same thing. He knows exactly what he wants to do. I feel like he's going to do the movie in a way that completely honors how freaking bananas 'The Boys' is. Because it is, and in an amazing way."
