Before it even gets released in US theaters tonight, Marvel Studios' Iron Man 2 is a record-breaking release. Why? Because, as Deadline Hollywood reveals, it'll be the widest release in US history, opening at a record 4380 locations at once, besting previous record-holder The Dark Knight by 14 locations. They'll have to build new theaters between now and 2012, because when Batman returns, clearly this is war.
