IRON MAN 2
The Coventry Telegraph notes an interview in Wizard Magazine in which Don Cheadle says there are no plans for a War Machine movie. “Hopefully, if this one does well, there’ll be another [Iron Man film] with the same people. But there won’t be a [War Machine] spin-off,” says the actor. Of course, that could change if response to the character is strong and an agreement with Cheadle could be made. A case could be made that such a spin-off would over-extend Marvel’s already ambitious film plans.

As our pals at Robot 6 mentioned, plans appear to be afoot for a “Young Justice” animated series. This all begins with a blog post by actress Stephanie Lemelin, who writes, “I am beyond thrilled to announce that I was recently cast in the new animated series, YOUNG JUSTICE, based on the famous (and awesome!?) DC Comics. I seriously could not be more excited about being welcomed into this amazing family … what a fantastic way to start the new year! I will be voicing the character of Arrowette.” She also provided the artwork accompanying the post. Since the story broke, the post has vanished from Lemelin’s site. An old friend has learned the cast will include Martian Girl, Aqualad, Nightwing, Impulse, Arrowette, and Connor Kent. Expect a big role out at Comic-Con.

We’ve chosen a private setting over one of the monthly screenings so people can actually hear the film and not just people shouting. Oh, but there will still be plenty of shouting. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, just plain weird, or spot Mysterio up to his usual hi-jinks, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning.
