Just as Marvel Comics fans wondered whether Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock would don the classic red suit in the first season of "Daredevil," questions are swirling about an appearance by Daniel Rand's costume on the upcoming "Iron Fist." But while star Finn Jones knows the answer, he's not about to tell.

"I mean, who says there’s going to be a costume?" the "Game of Thrones" veteran said during a Facebook Q&A with "Extra." "I mean, this is a modern ... I can’t say any more. Marvel’s gonna kill me. There may be a costume, there may not be."

His disjointed response is certainly open to interpretation, but it seems likely fans will see some version of Iron Fist's classic green-and-yellow threads on the Netflix drama. Otherwise, why would the actor worry that Marvel might "kill" him? Whether that means a "Daredevil"-style update/reimagining, or a sly "Luke Cage"-type nod to the character's comic book roots will probably have to wait until we're a little closer to the show's March premiere.

Jones previously discussed the veil of secrecy surrounding the Marvel Television productions, admitting, "I will say that Marvel is 100 times more secretive than ‘Game of Thrones.' Like, they’re not even on the same playing field.”

Debuting March 17 on Netflix, “Iron Fist” also stars Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey and Rosario Dawson. “The Defenders,” which teams Jones’ Danny Rand with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones and Mike Colter’s Luke Cage, arrives this summer.
