As is tradition with Marvel Studios properties, legendary comic book creator Stan Lee makes a small appearance in the latest Netflix series, "Iron Fist." In the Marvel Studios films, Lee -- known for co-creating pretty much every major Marvel character ranging from the X-Men and Fantastic Four to Iron Man and Spider-Man -- pops up in live-action cameos, sometimes even with a line of dialogue. Marvel's Netflix series ("Daredevil," "Jessica Jones," "Luke Cage" and now "Iron Fist") have all taken a different approach, including the icon in a photograph seen in the background of shots.

That's the case with "Iron Fist," which features a brief appearance of a photo of Lee in the thirteenth episode. The photo, which features Lee in a police uniform, has been used on plaques and posters since the debut season of "Daredevil" on Netflix. In "Iron Fist," it appears on a recruitment poster for the NYPD that features the phrase "Be Proud."
