Marvel's "Inhumans" just found its Karnak. According to Entertainment Weekly, "Lost" alum Ken Leung has been cast in the role. Leung joins a cast that includes Anson Mount (Black Bolt), Serinda Swan (Medusa) and "Game of Thrones'" Iwan Rheon (Maximus).

According to ABC's description of the character,

His gift is an ability to see the fault in all things -- people, plans, structures, everything. He’s Black Bolt’s most ardent supporter and strategist and is often seen as the royal family’s planner and philosopher.

“Ken brings both a wisdom and a power to the role that no one else could match,” executive producer and Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb said in a statement. “His Karnak will be awesome.”

“Ken Leung has a great natural intelligence that reads clearly and will add depth and complexity to the very complicated character of Karnak,” added executive producer Scott Buck.

Karnak is Black Bolt's cousin, which makes him a member of the Inhuman royal family. In the comics, he was never exposed to the Terrigen Mists, which means he never went through Terrigenesis and thereby never received superpowers. Through study, he was able to develop the ability to "see the fault in all things," as in the description for the show's version of the character. This talent makes him a strong asset in the Inhuman royal family; his cousin frequently seeks his advice for this reason.

In addition to his role as Miles Straume on "Lost," Leung has appeared in "The Sopranos," "Rush Hour" and "Keeping the Faith." His past credits also include "The Night Shift," "Zero Hour," "Person of Interest," "Deception," "X-Men: The Last Stand" and more.

With Karnak's casting, four members of the Inhuman royal family have been cast for ABC's upcoming "Inhumans" series. Marvel has yet to announce who will play Crystal, Queen Medusa's younger sister; Gorgon, King Black Bolt's cousin; and Triton, Karnak's older brother. It is unclear at this time if the series will feature Lockjaw, the family's teleporting dog.

“Iron Fist” executive producer Scott Buck will act as showrunner on Marvel's “Inhumans.” After debuting in IMAX theaters on or around September 1 and running for two weeks, “Inhumans” will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. “Inhumans” is also expected to air all eight episodes of its first season uninterrupted on the following Tuesdays. The first two episodes of “Inhumans” will air as one IMAX presentation, lasting approximately 80 minutes. The first two episodes of “Inhumans,” which will be shot entirely with IMAX cameras, will screen in 1,000 IMAX theaters across 74 countries. Additionally, select sequences from subsequent episodes of “Inhuamns” will also be shot using IMAX cameras.

Created in 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Inhumans are a race of super-humans with “diverse and singularly unique powers,” as described in the official announcement. The group of heroes have recently seen a higher profile at Marvel on the comics page and on the small screen, as “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” has introduced the concept and included many new Inhumans in its cast.
