It's two great tastes that just might taste great together, as Hollywood's love of comic book movies and newfound fad for fairytale source material come together for Ron Howard's Legends: The Enchanted.

The Hollywood Reporter has the exclusive that Howard's production company, Imagine, has licensed Nick Percival's Legends from publisher Radical, for future movie adaptation. The graphic novel recasts characters like Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and Hansel and Gretel as superpowered characters in a gothic noir mystery about the murder of Pinocchio.

So far, no writer nor studio have been announced for the project. And if you're thinking that this all sounds not unlike a particular Vertigo comic approaching its 100th issue, then come back here in an hour.
