The first teaser trailer for Disney's live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast" was so entrancing because it showed so little: some snowy exteriors, a few lonely shots of the Beast's castle, and of course, a magical rose. As we get closer and closer to the March 17 release date, we can expect more images such as these -- many of them recreating moments from the beloved animated film -- to set the internet on fire. A few have already popped up this weekend.

Yesterday morning, Twitter user @maconodom, tweeted two images that were possibly from the set: the first showed Cogsworth (Ian McKellen) and Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) in their disguise mode, and the second showed a Gaston (Luke Evans) and LeFou (Josh Gad) tromping across a table in a tavern, perhaps during the former's self-titled song.

The initial tweets have since been (expectantly) deleted, but producer Jack Morrison reposted the images on Facebook shortly afterwards, confirming that they are indeed related to the film. He calls the Cogsworth/Lumiere one "concept art," that's "close, but may not be final." As for Gaston and LeFou, it's a still from some unused b-roll in "Gaston."

There's still plenty of mystery to each image -- for instance, Gaston is only seen from the rear, showing none of his face -- and we hope Disney keeps it that way. How cool would it be to walk into the film not yet knowing what the Beast looks like? And then there's the biggest of all: who the hell is @macondom and how did he get ahold of these?
