Even as we mourn the (now seemingly definitive) loss of "Community," word breaks that IFC has ordered a new comedy pilot from creator Dan Harmon.

The cable channel announced this morning that he'll host "Great Minds," a panel show in which a revolving lineup of comedians will address trending topics while in character as some of history's "greatest minds." For instance, the pilot will feature "The Daily Show's" Rory Albanese as Benjamin Franklin, "SNL's" Robert Smigel as Albert Einstein, "Women Aren't Funny's" Bonnie McFarlane as Eleanor Roosevelt and "Mulaney's" Seaton Smith as Frederick Douglas.

"Great Minds" was created by "The Daily Show's" Richard Korson, who'll executive produce alongside Harmon, Jay Peterson and Kara Welker.

IFC also ordered pilots for untitled late-night talk show from Jim Norton ("Inside Amy Schumer") and "1320 Seconds," a female-led satirical newsmagazine show from Sara Schaefer ("Sara & Nikki Live").
