IDW to offer “Silent Hill: Among the Damned” One-Shot

Official Press Release

San Diego, CA (8/20/ 2004) – Building on the success of the Silent Hill mini-series comes Silent Hill: Among The Damned. This 48-page tale of bone-chilling horror will thrill fans of the Silent Hill video game as well as readers of the popular mini-series.

Silent Hill: Among the Damned is written by New York Times best-selling author and writer of Silent Hill: Dying Inside, Scott Ciencin. This chilling one-shot, featuring art by Shaun Thomas, follows a young soldier suffering from survivor’s guilt into the darkened confines of Silent Hill. There he will meet a doomed soul that will change his life forever-or end it.

“After the success of Dying Inside, we’re thrilled to return to Silent Hill to give fans even more of what they love,” says series editor Kris Oprisko. “Scott’s story and Shaun’s art will have you sleeping with the lights on!”

Silent Hill continues to be one of the most popular video games ever made, having sold over four million units worldwide. The first Silent Hill mini-series experienced similar success, selling out immediately upon its release.
