Written by Paul Allor ("G.I. Joe," "Guardians of the Galaxy") and illustrated by Nelson Dániel ("Dungeons & Dragons," "The Cape"), "Clue" will allow readers to follow the mystery, with an added twist: The first issue features three alternate endings, played out with variant covers by Gabriel Rodriguez ("Locke & Key").

"I am incredibly excited to be working on this project, especially with an artist as talented as Nelson Dániel,” Allor said in a statement. “In the grand tradition of the 'Clue; franchise, we're crafting a fun, exciting and at times completely bonkers story that will keep people guessing until the very end! I truly can't wait for comics readers to step into the mansion and find out just what we have in store for them."

Here is a synopsis of the series according to the press release:

The new series opens after the doomed Mr. Boddy is murdered at his own dinner party and everyone is a suspect! Will Boddy’s body be the last to fall, or is it just the beginning? Readers will have to follow the clues to solve the mystery, which deepens even further as issue one will feature three alternate endings!

Depending on which variant cover comic book sleuths pick up, a unique conclusion unfolds. Is it a clue, or a red herring?

"Clue" debuts in June from IDW Publishing.
