Ian McKellen delighted Twitter on Wednesday, and not because he did something adorable with pal Patrick Stewart. The actor revealed a clip from his next film Mr. Holmes, which finds the actor playing Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous creation Sherlock Holmes.

Directed by Bill Condon (The Fifth Estate), the film is based on a 2005 book called A Slight Trick of the Mind by Mitch Cullin, which focuses on the 93-year-old detective, whose mental prowess has dulled a bit. Holmes has retired to a seaside locale with his maid and her son, played by Laura Linney and Milo Parker.

Mr. Holmes does not yet have a release date, but will debut at the Berlin International Film Festival.
