Well that didn't take long. Just hours after it was announced that "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds is receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, his fellow X-movie star Hugh Jackman released a congratulatory video via Twitter. Oh, wait, no -- that doesn't look like Hugh Jackman. That looks a lot like Ryan Reynolds -- except with a flatter face and a popsicle stick glued to his chin.

@VanCityReynolds asked me to post this 100% real video by him on being honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame today. pic.twitter.com/LE4dQXpTuV— Hugh Jackman (@RealHughJackman) December 15, 2016

Jackman (as "Ryan Reynolds") gets in a few solid digs on the Deadpool actor, claiming that Reynolds starred in "the 12th best DC movie, 'Green Lantern'" and telling people to feel free to relieve themselves on or near his star. Also, as Jackman points out, he was "People's" sexiest man long before Reynolds was.

This video comes just a week after Ryan Reynolds made public his desire to do another Wolverine and Deadpool team-up. The pair shared the screen in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," although the version of Deadpool Reynolds played in that film is one that's best forgotten. Instead, Reynolds wants the new, comic-accurate Deadpool to team-up with Jackman's legendary X-Man.

“I want Deapdool and Wolverine in a movie together,” Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly. “What we’re gonna have to do is convince Hugh. If anything, I’m going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.” Reynolds also referred to Jackman as “one of the best human beings,” adding, “I genuinely love the guy.” Of course, Jackman's made it clear that 2017's "Logan," the third solo Wolverine film, will be his last appearance as the character.
