It's been a while -- nearly four months, in fact -- since we've seen anything about "Pan," but now Warner Bros. has released a new Japanese trailer for director Joe Wright's action-adventure.

It's essentially a condensed version of the domestic trailer that debuted in late November, but it serves as a helpful reminder that the film is on its way. Plus, it's fun to watch the barely recognizable Hugh Jackman chew a bit of scenery as Blackbeard.

In the film, Blackbeard kidnaps young Peter (newcomer Levi Miller) and other orphans from Edwardian London to work the mines in Neverland. There, the boy teams with Hook (Garrett Hedlund) to escape, oppose their captor and discover his destiny.

Opening July 17, "Pan" also stars Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, Adeel Akhtar as Smee, Taejoo Na as Kwahu, Nonso Anozie as Bishop, Kathy Burke as Mother Barnabas, Kurt Egyiawan as Murray, Lewis MacDougall as Nibs, Leni Zieglmeier as Wendy Darling, Jack Charles as The Chief/Tiger Lily’s father, and Amanda Seyfried as Mary.
