Warning: This article contains massive spoilers for House of X #2, by Jonathan Hickman, Pepe Larraz, Marte Gracia, VC's Clayton Cowles and Tom Muller, on sale now.

Writer Jonathan Hickman is known for his very detailed method of storytelling, where he often makes use of his background as a graphic designer to include intricate charts, visual aids and backmatter to add an extra layer to his stories. Hickman brought these techniques with him to his X-Men miniseries, House of X and Powers of X.

Unfortunately, each issue that has been released so far has included minor errors, which Hickman has admitted to on social media. This week's House of X #2 introduces a massive retcon for X-Men ally Moira MacTaggert, but one of the graphics in the back of the issue contains a major error that potentially added even more confusion to her new backstory.

"Our record on the X-books remains perfect. In our third issue we have three - THREE - typos! By the time we get to issue 12, these books will be both unreadable and unreadable," Hickman posted on Twitter. "This is the big one. I reversed the content of these two dates in the back."

The dates Hickman is referring to appear in "The Many Lives of Moira X" graphic in the back of the issue, which outlines nine of the lives Moira has experienced during her cycle of reincarnation. House of X #2 revealed Moira has the mutant ability to reincarnate following a death, and the graphic puts a spotlight on key moments in her different timelines.

Hickman included a screenshot of Year's 49 and 50 in Moira's tenth life, which we're led to believe is the current Marvel Universe. The comic states Year 49 is "Genocide at Genosha" with Year 50 "Moira fakes death (Shi'ar golem)." This is actually reversed, as Moira died in X-Men #108 and Genosha's destruction taking place in New X-Men #114.

Though it's a small mistake, the way fans have been theorizing and speculating over every page and panel in House of X and Powers of X, you can understand how the typo could lead to even more confusion.

Thankfully, Hickman set the record straight, and we're left to see if the typo streak continues when Powers of X #2 goes on sale Aug 14.
