As the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premiere looms ever closer, Hot Topic has released a new line of women’s "Star Wars" apparel by Her Universe.

"This is just the beginning of what’s to come in 2016," Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein explained to the Daily Dot. "We already have another 'Star Wars' fashion collection in development that is amazing and I really think it’s crazy how far Star Wars fashion has come over the past five years. I mean, we wanted a T-shirt five years ago and now we’re talking to Lucasfilm about full fashion collections. It’s exciting."

The collection features designs based on characters from across the "Star Wars" universe and includes several dresses and jackets. The designs were inspired by Darth Vader (dress and jacket), BB-8 (jacket), Boba Fett (jacket), R2-D2 (sweater) and Princess Leia (dress), with a "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" tour shirt as well. This won't be Hot Topic and Her Universe's first collaboration. Earlier this year, they teamed up for  a line of women’s Marvel apparel. That collection, which you can still find at Hot Topic, featured designs based on Marvel’s Avengers by Amy Beth Christenson and Andrew MacLaine, winners of last year’s Her Universe fashion show at SDCC.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max Von Sydow. The film opens Dec. 18 in North America.
