MAKE MARVEL … PAY UP?

A news report from Reuters noted that “Shareholders of a company bearing the name of Marvel comic book character creator Stan Lee sued Marvel Entertainment Inc, Lee and others on Monday as part of a long-running legal battle for profits. The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on behalf of shareholders of former dot-com company Stan Lee Media Inc (SLMI) claimed that as much as $750 million was at stake.” On the table? Profits from movies like the “Spider-Man” series, “Iron Man” and “Incredible Hulk.”
