THUNDERCATS

We’ve got the big news about the cartoon adaptation here at CBR. What’s next, SilverHawks? TigerSharks?

30 DAYS OF NIGHT

ShockTilYouDrop.com has a first look at the poster for the Steve Niles graphic novel adaptation.

DEATH

Reader Brendon Connelly wrote in to point out a script review of Neil Gaiman’s screenplay for the Sandman’s sister.

TRANSFORMERS

Director Michael Bay answered fan questions in a video featurette posted at Yahoo! Movies.

AQUAMAN

It’s the pilot that wouldn’t die — AOL has posted the entire first episode of the stillborn superhero series on their IN2TV service.

ALIEN VS. PREDATOR 2

Actor Steven Pasquale talked to MTV about what’s different for the sequel. “[We’re] trying to get back to the basics [with] the suspense and the gore,” Pasquale said. “I think it’s going to be really fun. [Directors] Colin and Greg Strause really know what they’re doing in terms of a sort of true-blue monster movie.”

FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER

Screenwriter Don Payne wants to spin off Norrin Radd, or so he told IF Magazine. “For sure the door is opened for a ‘SILVER SURFER’ spin-off and I think for sure the franchise leads to a third film. And yes I would love to write another ‘FANTASTIC 4’ film … The film touches a little bit about his back-story but it could totally be explored in his own spin off. The Fantastic 4 are trying to figure out who he is and what he does on our planet.”

Comics2Film has an interview with designer Tim Flattery from their November set visit, discussing the theoretical specs on the Fantasticar in some detail.

Finally, Comingsoon.net has new video from the project, including the 9th and 10th TV spots and two more clips from the sequel itself.

READY FOR YOUR CLOSE UP?

We can’t do this without you. The rumors, the scoops, the set photos — they’re all fueled by passionate fans emailing in the goods. The ones who ask, “What do you mean your sister’s dating somebody who works for Miles Millar?” The ones who know the code names of movie projects and scour city permit filings for them. The devoted, the involved. Fans, just like you. Whatever you know, we wanna know, and whether you want your name shouted to the web’s rafters or kept closer than a classified report, we’ve got you covered like a comforter. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is your humble scribe Hannibal Tabu saying thank you for your time and indulgence, and “enough talk — let’s go make with the ‘biff’ and the ‘pow’ already.”
