Have you ever dreamed of being able to be anyone and do anything you want without worry of punishment? That's what the futuristic theme park Westworld offers in the new series from HBO.

In addition to scoring this first image from the series, based on the 1973 sci-fi film of the same name, Entertainment Weekly also spoke with creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, but don't expect much in the way of concrete details. Instead, both offered some more general details about the park and the series.

“It’s a place where you can be whoever you want to be and there are no consequences—no rules, no limitations,” Nolan said. “What happens in Westworld, stays in Westworld.”

Joy added that the show is a mash-up of Western and sci-fi, followed by Nolan's assertion that the series aims to break boundaries.

“What we can tell you is that we intend to make the most ambitious, subversive, f–ked-up television series,” Nolan said. “The things that keep you up at night, any of those things that trouble you—that is exactly what the show is about.”

Ordered to series by HBO in November, Westworld stars Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood and Ed Harris.
