Even brooding superheroes like Batman need to get comfy for the holidays, and, thanks to Merchoid, now Bruce Wayne and everyone else can suit up in an ugly sweater.

The online retailer has released its licensed "Christmas Knight" unisex knitted sweater, which depicts the broader Batman logo from

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" looming large in the winter sky over Gotham. Or maybe it's not actually winter, but a sign that Gotham is in the icy grip of Mr. Freeze ... again. Look closely and you'll see the Batmobile on the street below, presumably on its way to deliver gifts -- or maybe a holiday beatdown to evil-doers.

The sweater is 100 percent knit, and possibly manufactured in Gotham itself, as Merchoid credits Lucius Fox with its creation. Finance, weaponry, high-tech vehicles and now knitting -- there's no end to Fox's skills.

It's available for preorder for $54.99 on the Merchoid website (marked down from $64.99) in sizes ranging from small to XXL. It's expected to ship Nov. 25, in plenty of time for the holidays. Stock is limited, so if you want to ensure you can don your Bat-jumper for a lovely fireside chat about angst and responsibility, you'll want to order soon.
