In a bit of news perhaps more surprising than Luke and Leia's parentage, a "highly placed source" tells Entertainment Weekly that Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill may be interested in returning for the recently announced seventh installment of the Star Wars series.

"Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he’s upbeat about it, all three of them are," the source contends.

While the apparent enthusiasm from Hamill and Fisher is expected -- George Lucas told them his plans for a new trilogy well before the Disney announcement -- interest from Ford definitely isn't. Unlike his co-stars, he's never fully embraced the Star Wars phenomenon, and even lobbied for Han Solo to die in Return of the Jedi.

Little is publicly known about the new films, other than they apparently won't be based on any existing material. Episode VII is set to arrive in 2015, by which time Ford will be 72 or 73.
