The campaign for Master Chief's long-awaited return in Halo Infinite has finally launched, but while it has received plenty of praise so far, one major criticism is the inability to replay missions after progressing further in the campaign. That means, in the game's current state, players cannot go back if they miss collectibles like the skulls. Halo allows players to use these skulls as modifiers to make gameplay more challenging or easier, so players who missed certain things would have to restart the entire game to backtrack and pick up items.

Thankfully, 343 Industries has acknowledged this shortcoming and announced plans to release an update that allows players to replay missions. In the meantime, here's where the collectibles are for Halo Infinite's first mission, which takes place aboard the Banished warship Gbraakon. This section features four collectibles total: three audio logs and one skull. Players will automatically unlock one UNSC audio log, called "The Plan," by playing through the mission.

How to Find the Spartan Audio Log

The first collectible players can pick up is the Spartan audio log "Infinity Down." After fighting the Banished in the cargo bay with all of the drop ships, players will take an elevator. When the doors open, the audio log will be visible. Outlined in light blue, it is conspicuously placed at the base of some crates to the left, and it will keep beeping until the player picks it up.

How to Find the Skull Boom

Warship Gbraakon's Skull is easy to miss. After picking up the Spartan audio log, players will fight through rooms and winding hallways of Banished. Eventually, they will arrive in an area with two levels connected by a staircase. Clear the room of enemies, then move to the right side of the room, where there will be some crates cycling through.

Go to the middle section and wait for an opening so Master Chief can jump onto a crate. When it rises, players can reach a small hidden pathway where the Skull is. This particular one is called "Boom" and, when equipped, this modifier increases the damage radius of any explosives.

The final collectible to find on Warship Gbraakon is another Banished audio log. This is located on the upper level on the leftmost side of the bridge when viewing from the control center at the end of the room. The audio log gives off a yellow glow and will beep, cluing players to its location amid all the gunfire. This audio log is the first of Escharum's Testimony, titled "Loss."
