No need to be wary of the Ides of March with 'pool around.

The fine folks at Gentle Giant have released images of their brand new Deadpool Caesar Bust. Yes, that Caesar. You know the one, from middle school World History. Everyone's favorite mercenary, Wade Wilson, comes dressed in classic Roman armor topped with a toga, the whole ensemble held together with a Deadpool logo pin. Julius Caesar would be proud.

Sporting the Roman General's laurel wreath, no Deadpool bust would be complete without his trademark katanas, which conveniently enough, come strapped to his back. And to top the whole thing off, the winking bust of the "Merc with a Mouth" sits atop a Roman column.

Gentle Giant's Deadpool Caesar Classic Bust measures 7 inches in height and 4.5 inches at the base. Retailing for $80, this modern bit of antiquity is expected to ship fourth quarter 2016.

This isn't Gentle Giant's first revisionist looked at Wade Wilson. Earlier in the year, the manufacture of all things cool released images of an animated Deadpool statue, as well. Unofficially based on Eisner-award winning artist Skottie Young's "Deadpool" #1 Baby variant cover, the animated statue features a cute little Deadpool, beaten down by a bunch of suction cup darts. Measuring 3.5 inches in height, the Deadpool animated statue retails for $64.99 and is slated for a March 2017 release.
