"Arrow" continues to extend its connections to the DC Universe with every episode, recently establishing the Suicide Squad with its sister show "The Flash" on the way. The show has had its fair share of DCU Easter eggs in the past, and executive producer Marc Guggenheim took to Twitter to tease one fans of Green Lantern in particular may be excited about.

The image is an ad for Ferris Air, a reference to the DC Comics universe's Ferris Aircraft, run by Carol Ferris -- the on again, off again love interest of Hal Jordan. Even the ad's slogan, "We Fly Without Fear" is a reference to the Green Lantern Corps, whose rings are powered by sheer force of will, leaving no room for any kind of fear.

Guggenheim teased the Ferris Air logo appearance in May 2013, implying a connection between "Arrow" and the "Green Lantern" movie.

"If all goes according to plan, when you see the Ferris Air logo later in the season, it will be the same logo that we established in the movie," Guggenheim told TV Guide in 2013. "I like tips of the hat."

For the curious, the logo is indeed very similar to the one in "Green Lantern."

Guggenheim didn't indicate when the Easter egg might show up, nor whether it means Green Lantern is on the way for the "Arrow"-verse -- when the executive producer teased the Ferris Air connection in 2013, he said "I would never say never. It's certainly something that we've talked about" -- though it's likely only an Easter egg, much like the quick cameo of Harley Quinn in the recent Suicide Squad episode.

Guggenheim discussed the process for bringing on characters in March, saying, "We have an idea, we go to DC, we talk about it, we find out where the lines are, which characters are available, not available, which ones we should stay away from, which ones we can tack towards."
