Much like how the Sony Walkman regained popularity following the release of Guardians of the Galaxy, Microsoft's now-defunct Zune has seen a resurgence in popularity after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Now, director James Gunn is giving fans a chance to win a Zune of their own -- only this one is signed by most of the cast, including Ego the Living Planet actor Kurt Russell.

Taking to Facebook earlier this afternoon, Gunn talked about the Zune and how he'd made sure to pick up a few extra brown Zunes from eBay ahead of Vol. 2's release, since he saw how expensive the Sony Walkman became following the first film. With multiples on hand, Gunn decided to have the cast -- with the exception of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper -- sign one of the Zunes for a giveaway.

For the auction, Gunn has partnered with the Rainforest Trust, which "helps protect threatened tropical forests and endangered wildlife by partnering with local and community organizations in and around vulnerable areas." The Rainforest Trust will match the final bid, as will Gunn. At the time of writing, bidding is already at $3,100 with six days remaining. Fans can bid on the Zune on the official eBay page.
