The ragtag group of cosmic misfits that make up the cast of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will encounter both new and familiar faces when the film lands in theaters this May. A series of new stills offer a closer look at scenes from the film's trailers, along with some concept art, behind-the-scenes images of director James Gunn and more.

The photos include a new look at Drax and Star-Lord, who has his headphones strapped to his belt. Another photo offers a familiar look at Rocket Raccoon blasting a hole in a wall, with Baby Groot planted firmly on his shoulder. New character Mantis looks off into the distance with Drax in yet another photo, while Rocket and Ravager Yondu strut confidently down a catwalk as aliens float aimlessly around them in another.
