Like the film's Super Bowl TV spot, the new trailer sets the action to Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain." This trailer, however, shows the team prepping to fight the multi-dimensional monster James Gunn called the AbeliskFurther, it introduces each member of the team, including Mantis and Nebula. Just before the trailer draws to an end, though, we get a quick glimpse of Kurt Russell's Ego the Living Planet introducing himself to his son Peter.

In anticipation for the new trailer, Marvel released a teaser that shows the Guardians enjoying a good ol' fashioned camping session, all huddled around a fire. Their peaceful surroundings are disturbed by an ominous noise, though, one coming from Drax. Basically, Drax’s lack of subtlety extends to his eating habits. This warrior is also one loud eater.

Written and directed by James Gunn, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2″ stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and franchise newcomer, Kurt Russell, who plays Star-Lord’s father – Ego, the Living Planet. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” arrives in theaters May 5.
