Step right up, True Believers. Just in time for the highly anticipated debut of "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2" in May, Marvel and Telltale Games will release "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series" on iOS, Android, PC, Xbox One, and PS4. According to Marvel.com, the first episode in the five-part series -- titled "Tangled Up in Blue" -- will be available for download on April 18th.

The series was originally announced with a teaser back in December. Speaking at the "World Building the Marvel Way" presentation at the DICE 2017 gaming summit, Marvel Games Creative Director Bill Rosemann revealed the game will focus on the team/family dynamic of the Guardians and delve into each individual Guardian as they explore their identity and their place on the team.

"Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series" is now available for pre-order at select retailers. Those who pre-order through North and South America PlayStation 4 will receive an exclusive premium theme. Physical disc copies of the game go on sale May 2.

According to the official synopsis, "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series" will be a universe-spanning adventure in the classic Telltale style, where every decision could have a major impact on the game:

Written and directed by James Gunn, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and franchise newcomer, Kurt Russell, who plays Star-Lord’s father Ego, the Living Planet. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” arrives in theaters May 5.
