If you somehow didn't realize that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" writer-director James Gunn is responsible for Baby Groot's smooth dance moves, don't feel bad: Some of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast apparently didn't know either.

"Are you kidding me?" Zoe Saldana replied to Yahoo! Movies when informed of that tidbit. "James Gunn is not a bad dancer, then."

While Gunn asserted in March during a Facebook Live interview that he's "the greatest dancer who has ever lived," the actress disagreed, saying, "I wouldn't go that far."

"If anyone dances like a 2-month-old, it's James Gunn," Chris Pratt. "Thankfully he believes that [he's the greatest dancer]. Because it makes some pretty unbearable dancing really adorable."

Dave Bautista, however, already knew Gunn was behind Baby Groot's choreography, because he watched Gunn both during the motion-capture session and at the actor's own wedding. "It was very amazing. It was one of the highlights of my wedding," he said.

In theaters nationwide, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Glenn Close as Irani Rael and Kurt Russell as Ego.
