“Gotham’s” Ratings Hold Steady with Midseason Premiere

On Monday night, “Gotham” managed to maintain its pre-break ratings for its midseason premiere on Fox, while “Supergirl” saw a slight dip in audience numbers from last week on CBS.

Despite a three-month break, “Gotham” returned to 4.2 million total viewers and a 1.5 demo rating with “Mr. Freeze,” its midseason premiere. The numbers are a slight improvement on the show’s midseason finale in November, but they’re comparable to the season two average thus far.

“Supergirl” saw a minor dip in its ratings with “Solitude,” which found Kara visiting Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. The show pulled in 6.8 million viewers and a 1.4 rating, which is a season low for the freshman series.

Starring Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue and David Mazouz, “Gotham” airs Mondays at 8 pm EST on Fox.

“Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8 pm EST on CBS. Developed by producers Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and Andrew Kreisberg, the series stars Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart, David Harewood and Chyler Leigh.
