Superman will soar into "Supergirl's" second season in the form of guest star Tyler Hoechlin, but why should that series have all the fun?

That's what "Gotham" star David Mazouz wants to know.

Talking with IGN last week at Fox's Television Critics Association party, the 15-year-old actor made his pitch for an appearance by the Boy of Steel.

"You know, Clark Kent as a teenager saves a busload of kids from drowning, right?" he said. "It would just be really cool to just start a scene in the GCPD and just pan, like start on a newspaper that says, '15-Year-Old Boy in Metropolis Saves Busload of Kids From Drowning.' And then just pan up and have a regular scene that has nothing to do with the ... throw a little hint."

Easter eggs aside, Mazouz pointed out that Metropolis and Gotham" are established as twin cities in "Batman v Superman," "so it wouldn't be that hard to take a boat ride over for Clark."

Mazouz probably shouldn't get his hopes up for a Clark Kent cameo. Besides, Gotham's police may soon have their hands full with the likes of Killer Croc and Harley Quinn.

"Gotham" returns for its third season Sept. 19 on Fox.
