When Gotham returns to Fox this fall, the series will introduce another crime family member to the streets of a city still awaiting the arrival of Batman. Crystal Reed, best known for playing Allison Argent on MTV's Teen Wolf, was announced earlier this year to be playing Don Falcone's daughter Sofia, a potential love interest for Ben Mackenzie's Jim Gordon. Now, Fox has released the first look at Reed's character, along with a few more pieces of information about her Gotham role.

Executive producer John Stevens told Entertainment Weekly that the fourth season of Gotham will see Jim make some steps towards becoming the commissioner we all know he'll become. Along the way, Jim will also  "cross different ethical lines than he ever did before." Sofia and Jim's relationship will be a part of that growth and play into the "dark path" that Gordon finds himself on this season after his girlfriend Lee (Morena Baccarin) made the choice to leave the titular city in last season's finale.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth. The series is set to kick off its fourth season on FOX beginning Thursday, September 21.
