FOX has released its primetime schedule for the fall 2016-2017 television season, confirming the time slots and premiere dates for DC Comics-based mainstays "Gotham" and "Lucifer," along with genre TV newcomers, "The Exorcist," "Lethal Weapon," and "Pitch."

The schedule is staying the same for the most part, as Monday still sees the "Gotham"/"Lucifer"DC TV block -- both premiering on September 19 -- while hit comedies "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "New Girl" are kicking-off Tuesday nights before "Scream Queens" hits at 9pm.

As for changes, "Lethal Weapon" is claiming the coveted 8pm pre-"Empire" slot on Wednesday, while "Pitch" is replacing "Bones" at 9pm on Thursdays -- pushing the final season of the series to early 2017. On Fridays, the latest "Exorcist" adaptation is now home to the 9pm slot on Fridays, after "Hell's Kitchen" (spooky!) Rounding out the week, "Son of Zorn" joins the network's Sunday night lineup at 8:30pm after "The Simpsons," in lieu of "Bob's Burgers," which is taking the 7:30pm slot this fall.
